I did good at my basic facts today. I enjoyed doing my basic facts today. I need to improve on getting my basic facts in a shorter amount of time.
Today I was reading a book about Hot dog – Tool Time.
In this book Lizzie, Kev and Hot dog didint have enough money to buy the ticket to go to the grizzly land, they really wanted to go there because it was about to open. They saw a tool box and they were thinking to make a job to fix windows and fences, the fox called them that the fence is broken so they came there to fix it. when they kept getting more calls they always come there to fix it and then when they are done they can finally go to grizzly land.
Today I did commanding convert sation, commanding convertsation is getting a picture and making one of them talk.
My commanding convertsation was about the 2 horses, 1 was the brown horse his name is Noah, the white horse is Sarah.\
I made them talk and this is what they said.
Noah: Ew you sneezed at me.
Sarah: Sorry I did not see you there.
Noah: Please dont do that again.
Sarah: ok I won’t do that again I promise.
Noah: that’s what I want to hear.
I enjoyed making the 2 horses talk. I did good at naming the 2 horses. I need to improve on making more talking.
Today I was playing Tball, the rules in the first game you have to run to the cone and then run back to the spot where you hit the ball.
Our coach made us go to 2 teams. Team 1 and 2, I was in team 1. When we were at team 1 we were first to hit the ball, when you hit the ball and the other team catches it they have to come put it on the T, when we hit the ball we have to run to the cone and then run back to the spot where you hit the ball to earn more points for your team.
Next we played a second game that was Tball but with other rules, you have to hit the ball and then run to the cone and then stand there and wait for the next person to hit the ball, when they hit the ball you have to run to the second cone and wait there for the next person. When the person hits the ball and the other team catches the ball thats strike 1. if you run all three cones you win for your team.
I did good at hitting the ball. I enjoyed playing the game. I need to improve on hitting the ball harder.
Today I was doing my skit, me and Norman and Jacob picked a story that is battle of the mountains.
Here is how we are going to practise the battle of the mountains.
David is Pihanga
Norman is Taranaki. Jacob is Tongariro. (change if you like just point out the differance)
Taranaki and Tongariro are kids that always fight and try to best eachother. When they grow up they realised Pihanga is beautiful and Taranaki and Tongariro fight over Pihanga they send hate to each other and Taranaki says “the battle begins” Tongariro attacks with a fireball and so does Taranaki they start coming together for close combat they fight for seasons then Taranaki says “I’ve had enough it is time for me to leave.”
Taranaki and Tongariro fight to best eachother. Taranaki and Tongariro are adults they look at Pihanga and find out she is beautiful. Then fight each other, Taranako Randomly punching to hopefully attack Tongariro. Tongariro blocks all the attacks and punches Taranaki in the head. Taranaki runs away and Tongariro wins.
Today I was learning about Statistical Investigation Organiser.
I learned that how the data will be collected, the first one I typed was Ask the shooter their gender. Type boy/girl. The year groups: year 6, year 5, year 4. Ask the shooter if you want to prone, crouch, stand.
Next the shooter’s shot at the cans to see who is the better shooter, boys or girls? I think that older age people can shoot all cans.
I hope we can shoot the cans this week.
Today I learnt about that processed food is bad.
I was talking about that processed food is bad for us because it contains sugar and fat. Our body needs fat but if we eat too much we could reach diabetes, sugar is bad for us because when you eat too much of it you could get diabetes, heart disease, obesity and high blood pressure. Processed food can be good to eat and it also eliminates microorganisms, bacteria, but it also can make you get diabetes, heart disease, obesity and high blood pressure if you eat too much. If you eat too much go on a diet.
I enjoyed doing this task. I did well at finding the bad stuff of processed food. I need to improve on finding the good things about processed food.

The poem is The Old Man With The Beard, the old man with his beard had bird nests on his beard. Two owls, Hen, Four larks and a wren. This was a Cinquain.
Diamante is: 7 lines word count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1, word types: nouns, adjectives, and verbs in a poem.
Cinquain: 5 lines syllable count story/description: topic, description, action, feeling, conclusion.
Haiku: 3 lines: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables, a seasonal word
Limerick: 5 lines, 8 beat rhythm, emphasis on the 2nd, 5th, and 8th beats: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, 1 2 3 4 5, 1 2 3 4 5, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8. End rhyme used on each line. Lines 1, 2, and 5 rhyme with each other. Lines 3 and 4 rhyme with each other.

Processed food is food that is processed to not make microorganisms come on it.
People were keeping the processed food from making it food spoiling for thousands of years. Dont eat too much processed food and sugar. Otherwise you will get heart disease, obesity, dia betes and high blood pressure.
The bad thing about processed food is cookies, sugary drinks, deli meats, and frozen pizza, salty snacks like chips, and most breakfast cereals.
My opinion was, we should not eat too much processed food, they get people heart disease, obesity, dia betes and high blood pressure, sugar and processed food are bad for you if you eat too much. You could die if you eat too much. If you noticed that you ate too much you can go on a diet.
Today I compared 2 stories that is battle of the mountains, maui and the sun.
First I was reading battle of the mountains and it had battling and fighting in it, when I was reading Maui and the Sun they also had fighting in it and then I compared those 2 stories talking about the fighting. Maui was fighting the sun, battle of the mountains were fighting each other and that means that those 2 stories had fighting in it.
I enjoyed comparing the 2 stories. I did good at comparing the stories. I need to improve on getting more stories done.
