Adobe Image Generator

LI:To generate an AI image using Specific Prompts on Adoe Express.

For this task we  made AI generated images.

first we had to make our prompts, my promts was. Underwater car vehicle, red lasers, spikes, ghostified, gold, rocket back. To make your car look like what you wanted it to look you have to be very specific about what your trying to make. After I made my prompts and images I have to make a DLO about the car and how I made it.

I enjoyed this task because it was fun to make our own car.

Paris Provercation

LI: To make an informed opinion.

For this task we wrote about Paris problems.

First we made google slides and was writing the things paris used the money for and the things they should of used the money for. Then we made a new slide that has perspective A, personal opinion and perspective B. Perspective A is agreeing, Personal Opinion is choosing one of the perspectives or you can choose both and Perspective B is disagreeing. We typed on those 3 boxes about the olympics because they spent many money on stadiums and left it to rot.

I enjoyed this activity because it was interesting to know that the olympics leave their stadiums to rot after they are done.

Kahoot Ancient Olympics

LI: To skim and scan to find facts about the modern Olympics and make notes in my own words.

5 Myths About the Ancient Olympics | HISTORY

For this task we were making a kahoot of the ancient olympics.

We made a quiz of 10 things about the ancient olympics. We took the questions from the google form and pasted it on to our quiz. Then we wrote the answers and then pasted a image to complete our quiz in kahoot.

I enjoyed this task because it was fun to make our own kahoot quiz.

Tivaevae Design

 

For this task we did Tivaevae.

We did this because it was cook island language week. Me and my partner were working together and designing our own tivaevae and our background. After that we copy and paste our tivaevae to our background and then we are dont.

I enjoyed this activity because it was fun to design our work.

Two words Two minutes

Today we did 2 words 2 minutes. Two words two minutes is a kinda like a challenge, you get two words and you have to use those to words in your sentence, your sentence can be made up, you only get two minutes to write your sentence and use your two words. After that when your timer is done you read your sentence to the person who is next to you, lastly you count how manyu words you have and write it.

This activity was fun because I wrote 48 words in 2 minutes.

Ancient Greek Olympic Research Challenge

LI: To use our smart searching skills to help us explore the Ancient Olympic games.

LI: To work collaboratively in groups as an active participant and contributor.

In todays work we researched about the ancient olympic games.

We researched what the ancient greek used to do in their olympics and how they created the olympics, the olympics was made to honor Zeus. Our group worked on what food the olympic competitors ate and what they get for reward after winning the olympics, then we wrote some of the information into our DLO.

Something I found interesting was the olympic game start every four years.

Catapults

LI: To explain the design process and the forces being used.

For this task we created a DLO of a catapult.

We researched about catapults and used those information and put it in our own words. We talked about how catapults work, what their weakness is and the last time catapults were used. Catapults cant counter heavy calvalry because of their movement. It can shoot up to 500 – 1000 feet, that is 150 – 300 meters. Then we built our own catapults with paper and tape. After that we make a competition of who can shoot further than the other catapults.

I enjoyed this activity because it was interesting to see how catapults work.

Our Whenua

LI: To Connect to the whenua around PBS

For this task we created a google map.

First we go into a group of 2. Then we mark the street roads and type the information of the history behind it. There are many inspiring historys behind the streets. Lastly we mark the other schools onto our google map and type what they are about. I enjoyed this activity because it was interesting to read about what the schools around us are about.

How to Prepare a Harakeke

LI: To learn how to prepare harakeke flax.

This week we learnt how to prepare a harakeke flax as it will be helpful for our item on the PBSMD (Panmure Bridge School Market Day). Something I found interesting about harakeke was that people make stuff out of it because it is useful to them. 

I found this activity interesting because they make ropes, fishing lines and nets with harakeke.

Celebrating Diwali

LI: To use your smart searching skills to find out what Diwali is and how people celebrate around the world.

Our challenge was to write create a DLO that tells others what Diwali is and how people celebrate around the world.

Something I found interesting was that they made lamps with paper because it was interesting.
