Ki – O – Rahi

I learned about Ki – O – Rahi again but with new skills. The new skill was stepping.

The first game was step race we were working on our steps. Then we had to go in 4 teams and step the cone to do that you have to run to the cone and trick it by stepping the other side and then go back to your side. The aim of the game was to be the first team sitting on the ground.

Next was the octupus game. We had to be in a line and there will be 2 taggers, when they say somthing we have on we have to run and not get tagged. This was played on in a smaller area.

I was good at running but i have to learn to step the cone. I enjoyed stepping the cone.

 

Toilet Procedures

Today i learned about rules and expectations of a toilet.

The first expectation is to tell the teacher that you have to go to the toilet.

And you have to be called from the role to make you safe and know that your here.

Next you have to go toilet at the morning and morning tea and lunchtime.

Kio O Rahi

Today we learned about KI-O-RAHI.

First we played Taniwha and Kioma. We had to make a line facing forward, we had partners, when our coach says Kioma then the girls have to come tag us. When she says Taniwha the boys have to tag the girls.

Next we were playing another game. When she said Taniwha or Kioma or Te r0to or Po or Te marama or Te ao or Key or Teara Then we have to go to the right area.

Then we played a mini game. There was 2 blockers that had to protect the barrel and we had to throw the ball at the barrel.

I enjoyed Taniwha and Kioma because i tagged my partner. But i have to run faster.

Polite Email Writing

Polite Email Writing.

First we do Subject, subject is when you do cybersmart or other things like that.

Next was greeting, you have to greet some like handshake.

And we learned about Google meet. When you join the google meet you have to mute before you join the meeting, and when you done the metting wait for the teacher to off the meeting.

 

Te Maori

Today we learned about Maori numbers.

Whaea Odie said tekou ma rua then had to grab a card they says 10, and the other card 2.

This time she made it a bit hard Whaea Odie said rua tekou ma rima, so I picked up two cards of ten to make 20, then grabed a card that is 5.

I learned my maori numbers.

Mini Procedures

If you follow these steps you will know how to write a procedural text.

Steps:

  1. Get book or drawing book.
  2.  Write a title and Calender.
  3.  Write end result.
  4.  Write Materials it means what you need.
  5.  Add some pictures and steps.

PE

Today we learned about soccer and practiced some skills.

First we have to be in groups, the groups were team 1, team 2, team 3 and team 4.

I was in team 4 and we had to learn how to dribble the ball. We had to dribble the ball to the other team. Then when we got to the other team we had to go to the back of the line and sit down to show we already dribbled the ball.

Then our teacher said who played football before, I have not played football before. Some people put their handup and then our teacher gave them yellow belts and blue belts. There was 2 teams, team yellow and team blue, they had to pass the ball 5 times to there teamates to win the game.

I enjoyed dribbling the ball and I was good at it. I have to improve to my kicking.

Kelly Sport Soccer

Today LS1 learned about some soccer skills on the field. Our coach’s name was Chelsea.

First we learned how to dribble the soccer ball. We were splited into two teams and we played against each other. We had to dribble the ball. to the other side and put our hands on our heads.

After we were put in pairs, we learned to pass and stop the ball. When we pass the ball our non domanaition fact should to fairing where we want to pass.

At the end we played a big game of soccer. The goal was to pass the ball amongst your team 8 times.

I did enjoyed playing soccer.
