Today I did some fractions.
Added 5 and 4 fractions then spilted them, 5/8 + 4/8 = 9/8. We are doing fractions but in maths. And we are writing the fractions but in numbers.
I enjoyed making fractions but like maths. I need to improve on getting my fractions correct. I did good at figuring out the answers.
Today I learned about story types.
I wrote 4 storys, the 4 storys were 2 fables, 1 legend and 1 myth. The myth was a book that was called battle of the mountains, battle of the mountains wanted to battle for a women to marry. The legend was the kakaronga could see through the dark and they also take what they like, even peoples belongings they still take it.
Today I did persuasive text.
Persuasive text means trying to make someone to believe your opinion, my opinion is to not waste lunches. When we were writing our persuasive text we had to do OREO, O means opinion, R means reasons, E means Explain, O means opinion.
Opinion is like when you say we should do animal testing but the other person will say no, that is an opinion.
Reasons mean why people should believe you, Explain means making people understand you.
I enjoyed writing alot of words on my persuasive text. I did good on writing alot of words and thinking. I need to improve on adding more.
